There was no public comment.

SPAY NEUTER CLINIC – Andrew Tepe/ Tammy Davis

The clinic performed 491 surgeries last month. Andrew is interviewing potential new assistants.

FINANCIAL REPORT – Tammy Davis

Tammy reviewed the financial summary. The shelter and the clinic are both in the positive. We are halfway through the year and both areas are under budget. Our Rescue Me store in the JC Mall has officially been closed.

DIRECTORS REPORT – Tammy Davis

Tammy updated the board on adoption events. The shelter is working very hard on getting long term dogs and cats adopted. Windy the longest resident (792 days) was adopted. The goal is to get all animals adopted in less than 6 months. There are currently only 9 animals that have been in the shelter for over 6 months. The shelter has been focusing on TNR. In the last 3 weeks we have TNR 70 cats.

EMPLOYEE/ANIMAL REPORT – Tammy Davis/Cindy Robinson

The shelter currently has 151 animals. This is an amazing number. Having less animals allows us to help the community more. The total intake number of just cats and dogs for 2024 was 3,489.

MEDICAL REPORT- Emily Ball/Tammy Davis

Tammy reported the number of animals on medication is back to normal. Fewer animals means less illness.

FOUNDATION REPORT – Brian Parlier

Brian informed the board that the foundation was able to secure a grant for $50,000.00 for the shelter. The foundation is planning a scavenger hunt/ Bark in the park event.

INVESTMENT FOUNDATION REPORT – Linda Bearfield

Linda reported things are going well and there are no real changes to discuss.

HUMANE SOCIETY REPORT- Mary James
