SUMMARY:Doggie Hop Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt
DESCRIPTION:Tennessee Tails Pet Boutique is excited to host The Doggie Hop Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt\, taking place in downtown Jonesborough on Saturday\, April 3\, 2021\, from 11am-5pm.\nThis first annual event will kick off at Mill Spring Park in downtown Jonesborough\, where attendees will pick up their scavenger hunt instructions. The hunt will lead participants around some of historic downtown’s most popular attractions\, while attendees stop at participating merchants to obtain an Easter egg containing the clue to their next stop. Some Easter eggs will be filled with doggie treats and prizes to be redeemed at various Jonesborough merchants! Those who complete the entire scavenger hunt will receive an Easter goodie bag for their dog from Tennessee Tails Pet Boutique.\nTickets for the event are $5 per dog and can be purchased in advance at TennesseeTails.com or on the day of the event (subject to availability). There is no charge for human companions. Proceeds will be donated to the Washington County Animal Shelter. Bring the family and enjoy a safe outdoor activity in beautiful downtown Jonesborough… all while getting a bit of exercise and maybe even a little shopping! Event will happen rain or shine.\nPlease note the following:\n*Masks and social distancing are required for this event in accordance with current CDC guidelines.\n*All dogs must be leashed.\n*Please purchase one ticket for each dog that will be participating. If you would like to purchase additional tickets in support of the Washington County Animal Shelter\, please feel free to do so!\n*Event starts at 11am\, but there is no competition to finish at a specific time. SUMMARY:Kitten Shower
DESCRIPTION:Please stop by the shelter on Saturday April 17th for our garden party kitten shower.  Kitten season is the busiest time of year here at the shelter.  During the summer months\, it is not unusual for us to take in 400 kittens a month.  Our goal is to place all kittens in a foster home or get them adopted as quickly as possible.  The purpose of this kitten shower is to help us prepare for the large amount of kittens that will be coming in.  We are asking everyone to please bring donations of kitten food or any other item off of our kitten wish list.  Any person who brings a 14lb or larger bag of kitten food to the garden party will be entered to win a gift basket.  There will also be hourly giveaways and refreshments.
