Adopt your new best friend! You will save money because adoption fees are less expensive than buying an animal from a pet shop or a breeder. By adopting, you reduce the demand that drives the commercial breeding of puppies and kittens.

 

At least 25% of the shelter pets are purebred. Given enough time, every breed makes an appearance in the shelter. Many of the local vet clinics offer discounts on their services for adopted pets. Ask our staff for details on which vets offer lower service fees. There are plenty of good reasons to adopt your next pet, but probably the best reason to adopt a dog or cat is that you might just meet your best friend.

Our shelter has feral cats in need of new outdoor homes. These cats are not suitable for indoor living, but make ideal residents for farms and barns. All cats will be spayed/neutered and vaccinated. There is no adoption fee, but adopters are required to provide shelter and food/water daily.
